Collection: Citrus

A fragrance belongs to the citrus family when the citrus facet is presented in large quantities in the fragrance, thus defining the main accord, or "theme" of the fragrance.

Citrus notes convey freshness and bring a spark to a fragrance. They are also very volatile (they evaporate quickly) and are considered top notes (the ones you smell first, at the time you apply the fragrance). In a fragrance, they should be paired with less volatile notes, which then take over to ensure long lastingness to the perfume.

Citrus fragrances are typically made using essential oils extracted from the peel or fruit of citrus trees, such as lemon, limes, orange, grapefruit, and bergamot.
